Welcome to the Delamere Forest Circuit of the Methodist Church (11/03)

The Circuit has 10 churches encircling Delamere Forest from Helsby and Frodsham in the North, to Tarporley and Bunbury & Tiverton in the South. It was formed in 1992 when two Circuits came together.

The circuit clearly sees the value in team ministry and for each church it has set in place a team of lay and ordained people working together to fulfil the mission and ministry in each church. The circuit employs 5 part-time church and community workers who work predominantly with young children and their families.

On any Sunday there will in at least one of the churches be an early morning service at 9/9:30am which will take the form of a shorter more informal act of worship involving families and those on the fringes of the church. During the week at many churches there will be a 'Tots praise' in one form or another and in some churches they have begun groups specifically aimed at reaching the missing generation such as a men’s group at Helsby and a midweek cafe church at the Hurst in Kingsley.

Many of the churches see hospitality as part of their mission. Every week somewhere in the Circuit one can be fed, be it at lunches, coffee mornings etc!  Everyone is welcome especially if folk have not been before. Please feel free to browse the pages of this site or make contact by sending us an email.

The churches of the Delamere Forest Circuit, through the mission of their members aim to serve others and help people come to know God in their lives.
